Vitamins can be very helpful. I suggest watching food matters on Netflix. They talk about the useful benefits of vitamins. Did you know that by cooking your food, you remove most of the nutritional value in the food. Most people say you can supplement but the real thing is better. How many oranges would be needed to get the daily amount of vitamin C your body needs to fight off the common cold, keep depression at bay, or keep you feeling your best? probably more than I know I could stand to eat. We take supplements to give our bodies the ingredients it needs to fight off illness. We feed our bodies food to nurture, grow, and thrive. I suggest talking to your pediatrician before putting any age child on any kind of supplement. Also, keep vitamins and other meditations safe and secure away from children. Make sure to ask your doctor and your child's doctor about ways to enhance your children's diet to meet their individual needs, or a licensed nutritionist. I have took some time to gather beneficial graphics to help guide us on our path to the righteous, healthy, positive lifestyle that has brought us to where we are today.

Eat better, feel better, sounds simple enough. But do you know what your really eating. Everything in the grocery store is designed to look good, but does it taste good, and is it really what it looks like?
Organic food used to be an urban legend and my home growing up. You'd hear about it, maybe see it at friends houses, but we never really knew much about it before. Chemicals are going into our food to make it look so good, while cows are being fed corn that they can not digest properly. So much of these foods we eat contain GMO'S and pesticides that are harmful to our bodies and our children. Now you can almost buy anything made Organically and not in a lab. I have watches a couple movies and read some articles on food lately and what I found inspired me to create meals that would give me and my family the energy we need to be healthy, happy, and motivated. All by knowing what is going into the body, how it effects the body, and making positive choices. Here are some graphics I have found via: Facebook, Instagram, mindbodygreen: that I found exstreamly helpful in making the right choices and preparing food from scratch. What motivates you to get up in the morning? Is it happy baby laughs and giggles, warm little fingers poking at your toes, or screaming babies from the next room over? It can't always be rainbows and sunshine but the best part of motherhood is. Every morning should be started with a happy, positive, motivating thought. Let that thought grow into something that inspires you to create, laugh, and love. Everything good in life is done with love. Every moment in life is so precious.
Something that has got me in touch with my surroundings is meditation and yoga. I feel so insightful, inspired, and motivated after doing yoga and meditation. Sometimes, as a mother, you forget to breathe. Yoga can help with weight, self esteem, and all around health. Yoga keeps you humble, happy, and strong. Everything a mother needs to add to their self-care plan. Heres a tip: Babies love yoga too! Older children can be taught to mediate and younger babies will enjoy adding weight to your yoga moves. :) Also, they love imitating your cool bendy moves. They'll think your as cool as my three year old tells me, I am. It's hard to see people we love in rough situations. Being apart of the solution may seem like helping, but is it really? You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. Listening, caring, and asking thoughtful questions shows that you care. You can't control others behavior, or let it effect you so deeply. I struggled with this last night. I cried myself into a headache. The only time I get headaches is due to stress. My body is physically telling me "no more". One of the major reasons for my self awareness, self love, and positivity journey was my headaches.
So what can you do about being around negative situations? It's not nice to avoid people because their in a bad mood. However there is nothing wrong with it. If someone is constantly in a bad mood that you are around, you have a choice to either stand by them or not too. A quick way to find out who you really care about. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much you care or love someone. No one has the power to change another human being. Think about how hard it can be to change yourself. It takes work, constant effort, trial and error. If its hard to change yourself, how can you change something you have no control of. Let it go. Today I ran until my mind was clear. I got on the treadmill and just ran. Something I plan on doing quite frequently. It helps that my amazing mother in law has a full gym in her house. So on the days that I go up there, after work, I plan on running. As long as its something that I feel would make me feel better. The truth the hardest part of exercising is getting motivated. I haven't been paying attention to my weight. I have just been loving myself the way I am. However over the last four months with diet change, daily exercise, and after not being pregnant for a full year I was curious. I stepped on the scale and in the last four months ive lost 35 pounds. I was proud of myself. Inside and out I am proud of myself. I am at my lowest weight in 3 years. I feel amazing. I am only at the beginning of my journey but over the last four months I've slowly been improving myself, and without rediculas expectations. Now I have a set goal in mind as far as achievements. Weight isn't one of them. However finding myself by putting in an honest effort for myself is. The world of exercise is unlimited. There are so many different techniques and styles. I personally have found a hidden interest in yoga. I found a Hot yoga, Pilates, and cycling class near my councilors office. I'm so excited to try it out. Being in an environment with other positive women looking to better themselves is a great chance to build some real friendships. Quality vs. Quantity. So happy exercising and I wish everyone good luck on their way to a healthier lifestyle. Positively brings Prosperity Positively brings love Positively is Positively a Possibility. -Desirae Ramos After all of the research I've done on how to become a more positive person I've learned that life is all about perspective. How we view what we are supposed to do, how high we raise our standards to please others. Positive thinking changes the way you perceive life and all that it throws at us.
I made a poster last night. I was brainstorming on what positive thinking ment to me. I started by painting in yellow the words positive thing, followed by; achieve; love; hope; believe; smile; listen; explore; create. After looking at this chart I decided to add words to make them actions. So this list turned into this; achieve greatness, make love, have hope, just believe, smile everyday, listen to others, explore everything, create anything. I hung this little message to myself on the wall beside my bed. Every morning I will start my day off with a positive thought giving me a more positive attitude for the day. Also I would recommend another inspirational woman named Mama Gena's school of womanly arts. Pleasure to make yourself happy now, rather than later. I did the exercises in her first chapter. This woman is onto something remarkable. As a culture designed to feel guilty about finding pleasure. I learned most woman don't even know what pleasures them. Following her plan through her exercises has helped me pinpoint what exactly brings me joy and pleasure. Every hour evaluating how I feel and that there is nothing wrong with the way I feel. If I'm inspired at that moment looking at what I am doing and knowing this is causing me pleasure, is remarkable. You can download her PDF of her first chapter for free and check out her website here ;; http://www.mamagenas.com/ Her book is also available in the Google play store. I love this book because she emphasizes on the fact that every woman is special and a sister goddess. I know she has helped many people find themselves and their own pleasure. I am very happy I came across her website and I hope she helps you as much as she's helped me. Do you really know what makes you happy? Mama Genas book of womanly arts can help you live your life to the full pleasure limit and help you find fulfilment as she has for so many others. So before I decided this journey of positivity was something I personally wanted to venture into, I did some research. Everyday I will post my progress, phycologists exercises, and inspirations daily. I found myself over the summer in a rut. I found myself being so used to disorder and after all the experiences we had that I didn't understand how to take advantage of when things are going good. I was staying home with my babies as I've always wanted. My husband was working overtime. I needed to do something other than parks and peanut butter sandwiches. So after my husband lost his job, I got active. This motivated me in a way I have never felt before. To get up and to see what my home state that I love enough to come back to (after everywhere we had been) has to offer. So I got a job and it was amazing. I stilled found myself complaining and upset. Then it happened, a person who I had known for years decided that talking to me wasn't making her happy anymore. I cannot say I blame her because what I was doing, was something she had done for years. I had no reason to hate my life, no reason to feel alone, and yet I still felt unfulfilled. I didn't know what I fully wanted out of life. Everything I wanted I had achieved. It took me a lot less time to start a family than I imagined it would. Now I've come to realize that being around negative people in negative situations had taken a toll on my mind, my body, the way I took care of myself. I started exercising and that helped but I still felt tired. When the new year came I made an inspiration. This year I am going to become a more positive person. Not for anyone else, not to keep people in my life, or to prove someone wrong, but for myself because I deserve it.

We Love The BabiesThis page is to bring you along my journey to find positivity and harmony. Its started as a 30 day challenge to learn more about ones self and how to truly take care of yourself. To take care of others, you have to be able to take care of yourself. Instead of a 30 day challenge I'm turning this into a year of positivity and the journey we venture to find what truly matters in this world. It is important as a mother to show children positivity can be found everywhere and anywhere. It starts with right now, and right here! Archives
