Month 1: I've been really busy researching, anything that is supposed to help build positive energy. I've also been practicing my self care plan, as I grow and learn more, and create. I decided it was time to get serious about eating healthy, meditation, organics, yoga, and sustainability. To be able to finish my e-book, there are certain levels of positive, I want to get to first. I feel like this journey is coming along smoothly, and my e-book will be very beneficial to others looking for great results. My e-book talks about using the five senses, continuing great self-care habits, to reach a higher intuitive state of mind. I've always been intuitive, and able to feel people's energy. This book is ultimately for anyone looking to increase their intuition. I want to share with others how to get close enough to your spirit, show yourself unconditional love without consiquences, and reach intuition with balance. Balance is key to life. Following the steps I've researched, based on this theory, have had remarkable results. Knowing what to work on is key, and following through. Loving oneself is the first step. Month 2: After getting serious about the foods I was eating, I feel my body is healing. I feel better cutting food I know makes me sick, and food that isn't even real food anyways. I had already cut processed food out of my diet. I had to get my body healthy, so I could get my mind and spirit healthy, and happier. I started doing yoga more frequently, because I felt the energy to do so! The more yoga I do, the better I feel. I've also recently started doing some stretching, and I will share a great link for that. ( coming soon) Month 3: Meditation is becoming more and more, my go to technique. There are so many different tools, types, practices. They are all absolutely wonderful, and have a place working together, they can create amazing results. Meditation is a great way to connect with your innerself, and get intune with your mind, and hear your intuition. The more these techniques come together, better results will keep coming, and increase the ability to pass the positive energy on to others. Take the basic steps to meditate, and relax the body, the way you've found to work best for you. If you're interested, incorporate some of these meditation affirmations, and follow your intuition. 1. Meditating for love. Every intention should be done with love. Invisioning a white light coming around you, getting bigger, and bigger, till everywhere that surrounds the area you've invisioned in love, and postive energy. 2. Meditate to the sound of soothing music. There is music that is especially good for meditation, and relaxing. I've only done this once recently. I was trying to meditate for world peace, and it was impossible to settle down. If I stayed still to long, I would get a little itch and have to move, and my mind was restless. It put me in a trance. I even slept in longer than usual, because I forgot to shut it off before bed. It was really great to not wake up every 2 hours.
3. Chakra meditation is a great way balance all your levels of being, and control your energy. It's your energy, their your dreams, why shouldn't you be able to control them? The Chakra system teaches how to balance your soul, body, and mind. This is a great way to work on parts of your soul, and balance certain areas of the 7. Chakra meditation is great if you're looking to be more intuitive or feel grounded to the earth. If you wish to use your voice louder, stronger, or clearly. To keep your ego in check, but respect yourself by stayoing away of negative down talk. To listen to your instincts more, and find your soul. Chakra mediation is a great way to feel whole. 4. Incorporating crystals, and semi precious stones, into meditation, or just into life in general can have great affects on the soul. There is also Chakra stones, that help balance certain Chakras. Crystals have great energy, and I've become fascinated with these shiny little stones of positive energy. Look soon for the blog on my crystal collection, and different sources to research crystals, and stones. I've always been drawn to these little crystals, as they have popped up through out in the most random places sometimes. :) There is a stone for all different types of positive affirmations. I suggest like with everything else, to research meditation, if you're interested in trying it. Researching a topic, and learning something new, is always a blessing. Find the best way to meditate for you. Make sure you are focused on why you are meditating. However, I do feel starting with love, will change your aspect on life.

We all have our own physical energy. We radiate our emotions, through energy or vibes. Everyone has their own unique energy, or some people call it an aura. Our energy can be either positive, negative, or neutral. Everyone has different levels of all and in between. It can change depending on a conversation, or a swift in emotions. Positive energy, can get very strong, and it can also be harvested and created. By creating more and more positive energy, and spreading that energy to others; in return, creates a more positive world. Our energy is our own. However our energy does affect the energies of the people around each and everyone of us. I am pretty sure there are tons of people in the world, that have never felt someones energy. Some people might not know how, to feel someones vibes. It's something some people are overly sensitive too, and other have no idea. Personally don't think I've spoken about vibes to anyone, who has not felt someone's vibe before. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me. :) Some people may not be able to sense their own energy. There are many different techniques, tools, and remarkable resources around us, to enhance our positivity. I've been researching a couple different strategies, and the results feel amazing. The goal is positive energy, and creating more of that energy. Here's a little theory, and feel free to test it; Energy Cause and Effect
If someone is in a terrible mood, can you feel negative energy while around that person? Even before they speak? Does being around others in a negative mood make you feel; low or down? How about if we flipped it? What if we were positive, avoided negative energies, and protected ourselves againt them? Do people respond to you calmly and peacefully? How do you feel when you're feeling down, and someone chipper makes you smile? With more and more people staying positive, we can motivate each other. We can teach our different ways, and paths of the positivity journey. Always trust your intuition, and believe in it. Be observant of how good it feels to act from love, and passing positive energy to everyone you love. Well it has been a very active, last three months. The positive Journey is taking off, in full on mode! There are quite a few topics, I hope to reach base with tonight. One of my favorite aspects of positivity; The more postive I am, the more positive that happens, in my life. Sounds so simple, and honestly, it gets easier. I've always been a loyal believer that everything happens for a reason. Also, if something is ment to be it will happen. (If you know where those quotes came from, please comment below. They were incredibly smart.) When we live happier within ourselves, our lives become more enjoyable. I'm thinking of expanding this positivity journey, into a positivity and harmony journey. I've learned so much, and have reached many people, through this journey. Everyone is on their own journey, and I'm not the only one who has started living theirs more positively. It makes me extremely happy to see others, activity working on bettering themselves. No two people have walked the same path, and everyone is going to have their own success, at their own speed. It's really incredible how much we can learn from others who actively work on bettering their energy, with positivity. Everyone on their own positivity journey,we have something very much in common. Everyone just wants to be happy. We all need balance in our lives. To feel better, and just be happy. Also, wanting to be successful never hurt either. This is the main idea; TIPS on Staying Positive:::: 1. Stop being disrespectful; have intentions that come from love. 2. Stop complaining; its beautiful outside, even if it's pouring out 3.START::::: SPEAKING out loud and saying, what makes me great full, as much as possible. Make it a habit, every couple days. All at once or through out the day. It's all amazing! it makes me sad, to see people disrespect each other. No one should feel so lousy to, wake up in the morning, and make someone feel bad about themselves. Or; Feel the need to talk about themselves negatively, and loudly to others. Even self down talk when your talking to yourself, is unnecessary and very damaging to one's self health. If everyone loved themselves, and showed each other they were apreciated, I think the world would be in better shape. It has to start somewhere. Positivity is just as strong, if not stronger, than negativity. The more positive you become, and the happier you are, life will be ten times easier.
Maybe world peace shouldn't be made to sound impossible, but something people should practice more of, and within themselves. :) Dream big, Lets aim for World Peace! :) Don't worry I have a plan.... To be continued..... I feel duped by the organic isle. I should have known better when I found xahannagum, in packet form. Organic Agave Nectar, Vegan and gluten free, made to look like a health food. With only one ingredient, 100% pure organic blue agave nectar. At first glance this looks like an organic alternative to sugar. However, due to the high content of fructose, it's a health food impostor. The fructose isn't easily broken down by the body. Making the sugar absorption lower, and increasing fat storage. It's labeled vegan, and I a part of the aloe vera family. This is organic, and the pesticide levels are probably low. All might not be lost on this alternative to bee genicide. This product can easily replace the call for honey in home made products, such as facial masks, body scrubs, and other home remidies. Aloe vera is one of my favorite natural healing essentials. I look forward to trying out the nectar, however, I won't be considering eating it. More to come soon.... If interested in reading more on the topic please check out the links I've provided below :) http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/QAA401166/Whats-Wrong-with-Agave-Nectar.html http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agave_nectar
So in general, I overall like sprint and they are having a really good deal on the Samsung galaxy tab 3. With a new line it was only around 20$ right now! This makes for easier web editing and easier to do research. It also saved alot of money in the long run and is even bigger than the galaxy note. The samsung tablet 3 is 7 inches but is sleeker than the HP tablet that is 7 inches.
As far as a cell phones go, beware of bad esn cards. Always check the numbers on the back, inside of the phone. Luckily the pawn shop I used let me return it right away, because of the bad esn. To check the esn card, call a sprint store or the carrier, and let them know you bought or are buyiny a phone and need to check the esn card. I didn't think it was a problem, but sometimes little stores don't check first. Advice of the day! Always check an esn number before buying a phone. Also, always have insurance on you're phone or tablet. Positive of the day: The galaxy tab 3 is shiney and will get the job done until my insurance sends me a new gallaxy s3 :) ECOTOOLS - Earth Friendly Beauty Cellulose bath sponge. This sponge is made of recycled plant pulp. I love this sponge because its nice and fluffy but still firm. It's made entirely out recycled plants and the packaging is made out of recycled material too. It came with a little rope to tie on for hanging. This bath sponge only cost me $1.50 at Ocean State. Amazon also sells this line of beauty products for around the same price. I look forward to trying more of their products. These would make for some amazing earth friendly Christmas Presents and I'll defiantly be ordering an array of their products to hand out for Christmas! UPDATE: Food Babe's article on how the food industry is using cellulose as an additive in food. While cellulose may be a great way to exfoliate, I have to agree that it shouldn't be used to bulk up food with less than food ingredients. Take a look at this article please! Show her some support! Don't worry girl! You're not the only one who doesn't want to eat wood! http://foodbabe.com/2013/10/07/are-you-eating-this-substance-that-lines-food-industry-pockets/comment-page-1/#comment-1124315 Dermasil Labs - Epsom Salt Lavender - Soaking Solution The only ingredients in this product is Magnesium Sulfate, and Lavender Fragrance. They use lavender essential oils to aid in the soothing soak of epsom salt. It says to pour 2 cupful's into a warm running bath to soothe sour muscles and promote well being. I haven't been able to get my hands on any essential oils yet, but I'm looking forward to trying this. Dr. Scholl's Mini Foot Massager This Mini foot massager is great for one foot at a time, and comes in four different vibrant colors. I suggest trying after soaking feet in Epsom salt. This massager is about the size of a very small foot. It takes two AA batteries, and gives you're feet a hands free rub. After putting the batteries in all it takes to turn it on is to put your foot on it. The pressure from your foot turns on the device. Once your foot is on it, it will vibrate your foot. It actually has a lot of power for it's size. You have to do one foot at a time, unless there is two. I do like this product and you really don't need to use for long periods of time. Just a couple minutes on each foot rotating is great and relaxing. Give you're tired feet a break! This feels great after being on you're feet for awhile. McCormick Pure Lemon Extract $2.99
Review: Great for lemon cakes, homemade from fresh lemons. This extract is also great for fish. Fish is a big part of my regular diet, and using a half cup of water and a couple drops of lemon extract, is great for baking fish. I also add several Italian, garlic, and onion seasonings. I was very impressed by the smell, tastes, and ingredient list. This goes great with enhancing the flavors of natural lemon juice. McCormick Organic Cinnamon Sticks $4.99 Pure Vanilla Extract Large Bottle $4.99 Pure Almond Extract $2.99 I absolutely love these extracts. The almond pairs well with vanilla extract and cinnamon, and is added to most of my baking recipes. This is my go to combination for pancakes, muffins, and other baked goods. McCormick Mint Extract......................................................................... $2.99 McCormick Mint Flakes ......................................................................... $3.99 Mint is a great flavor to add to many different baking and cooking recopies. Also great when paired with Lemon. McCormick Imitation Hazelnut Extract $2.99 Review: First let me say buying imitation was a mistake. A lot of the pure extracts have imitation versions. Surprisingly all McCormick extracts were the same price. Whether they were imitation or pure. I am unsure if pure hazelnut was available at the time. It was tricky as I almost bought imitation almond extract, but then found the real extract. I'm looking forward to using this extract, possibly with cloves, when I make my next stove top air freshener. I'm also making nut cookies. The packaging suggest using to flavor coffee, or chocolate cake frosting. Imitation Hazelnut has no real hazelnut but instead has natural flavoring listed as an ingredient. I'm curious to know what that natural flavoring is, and more research is required. Personally I feel extracts are great for cooking and adding flavor. And can be used in place of over using sugar. I look for and extract without unnecessary ingredients, and try to avoid imitation products. The grocery store didn't have that many healthy options to choose from. I might be able to find better options online. The McCormick brand pure extracts have only a three ingredients, and no additives. Organic Tomatoes USDA Organic from Canada Biologique @ 1.66 a pound Total= $3.30
Review: These tomatoes taste like they came right from the garden. I love any kind of tomato fresh from the garden. They're not mushy with the odd texture and they taste amazing. I've found that organic tomatoes are easier to cut, and in my opinion stay fresher for longer. I've also tried Heirloom Organic green house tomatoes. They were the first organic tomatoes I've ever tried. Now I will only purchase organic tomatoes because the difference is very noticeable. Tomatoes are my favorite! Organic Foxy Romaine Lettuce Hearts USDA Organic Certified $3.99 Compared to the alternative Romaine Lettuce priced at $2.99 Review: There is no weird after taste when eating this lettuce. This lettuce I like to pair up with baby spinach, in salads. Baby Spinach priced at $2.99 a bag. I'm still looking for organic baby spinach. Organic Bell Peppers $4.99 a pound 1 Red Medium Bell Pepper $2.54 1 Green Smaller Bell Pepper $1.17 Review: I wasn't happy with the price, but it's not very often I can find organic bell peppers. Being selective on amount and size will make controlling spending easier. I find it strange that a bag of non organic peppers can cost the same amount of one medium organic bell pepper. The organic bell peppers do look amazing. Organic Sleeve Celery $2.99 Review: By looking at the difference organic celery is smaller, and the tips with leaves are already cut off. The packaging was impressive and the difference in price was about a dollar. Organic 16oz Strawberries $2.99 Strawberries can be rather expensive. Organic strawberries in the summer time are about the same as non-organic strawberries in the off season. I suggest buying in season, and freezing for longer use. Organic Lemons 3 for $3.64 Verse 1 regular lemon for $0.79 Review: I decided against buying the organic lemons and only bought one regular lemon. I haven't used lemons in a long time. I plan on using them to cook, more often. Then next time I'll buy the organic lemons instead. That way I'll be able to make better observations on their differences. Aloe Leaf 1 for $0.99 Review: This leaf is huge, pointy, and full of juicy goodness. I'm looking forward to using this in home-made sunscreen. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this in the vegetable isle at the grocery store. My aloe house plant is still a baby, and isn't ready to be harvest yet. As part of making progress on my health goals, I've designed a plan to help remove certain aspects of my diet, and make healthier choices. In a later blog, I will clarify how to see how the body reacts to different foods, and to determine if a specific food group is effecting the body, as an allergen. Being lactose intolerant, having severe IBS, possibly having Chromes Disease, and coming terms with the fact that I was addicted to sugar, I am making health a priority. All babies need healthy parents, to lead by example and pass along the valuable knowledge of healthy living. Organic food isn't always an easy choice to make. Some will say that to buy organic is just plain silly because its "way more expensive". Well I wanted to get some extra research in, while changing the majority of my diet to organic. How much more does it really cost to provide our family with healthy organic products, compared to processed, and GMO-Food? I was generally surprised by some of the results. Taking a look at spending habits, many people spend money on bad habits regularly, make frequent trips to fast food restaurant's instead of cooking, or drink their calorie intake and excel past recommended amounts of sugar with coffee or other sugar filled beverages. Instead of spending 5 dollars for a coffee everyday, or on grease filled junk food, eating healthier can actually save money. By reducing the bad eating habits, and spending money on food that is actually considered real food, it will come together easier then imagined! There is no use in spending 20-30$ on ordering food from a restaurant, and saying organic produce is too expensive. The more people that support organic agriculture by purchasing USDA Organic, and NON-GMO Project verified food at the grocery store, the lower organic food prices will become as well as, more readily available in stores. The truth is, organic food is expensive. I saved my recite after our family's trip to the grocery store, to compare organic food prices to what we would usually pay. Listed below are different either healthier options, or completely organic products. Also provided is my personal review on products I've tried, and their prices. I shop at Market Basket. I went to a Market Basket about and hour and fifteen minutes away, to find better organic variety, and lower prices. These prices are subject to change, and may be different depending on your area. Also I choose to buy in bulk, to save money in the long run. Organic nuts, oils, and organic fruits that can be frozen is a part of the game plan to make organic food more reasonable, and last longer. Coconut Oil: I searched high and low to find anything Market Basket sold with anything to do with coconut. They have coconut milk, coconuts, coconut syrup, coconut oil, and everything else coconut. I noticed that there are a lot of imposters. Many brands that I am personally trying to stay away from have coconut products. These brands can come hidden by another name, while still being owned by a junk food brand. Not all coconut products are made equal. The main mission was to find coconut oil. I wasn't sure what it looked like, what kind of coconut oil would be available, or if a good choice was sold in stores. I didn't even know what coconut oil looked like. I asked around to find the coconut oil, and to determine if it was sold at Market Basket, and it was! There was many different varieties, and it was rather confusing. If there was one thing I was sure of is, I was going to get what I paid for. The cheaper the product, the cheaper the ingredients and quality. Coconut oil is something I think one should be picky about. The whole point of using this particular oil is for the health benefits. Spectrum Organic Coconut Oil, Certified USDA Organic (29 fluid OZ) Expeller Pressed, and Refined . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $12.99 Review: Overall I am very satisfied with the Spectrum Coconut Oil. This product was one of the larger, and more expensive alternatives at the grocery store. Expeller Pressed and Refined, results in an odorless alternative, that doesn't taste like coconut. This was the one I wanted to try first because while I love the smell of coconut, I do not enjoy the taste of coconut. The best thing about the 29 Fluid Oz large sized jar, is how long it will last. Next time I buy coconut oil, I may order online, or try a health food store. The next oil will be Extra-Virgin Organic Coconut Oil, that is unrefined, and the brand is undecided. The goal is to buy the alternative kind of coconut oil before I run out of the Spectrum coconut oil. This way they both will last longer, and I can use one for self care products, and one for cooking. I can also rotate between which one is used depending on the results I'm seeking. There will be another review on the next coconut oil after it's been bought and tested. Nuts: Healthy snack options should include a variety of nuts. I have been wanting to add raw nuts to my diet, and I finally made the leap! Nuts can be expensive, and there are a lot of different kinds of nuts available. I found some good options for less money, and some more expensive, bigger quantity options to choose from. Orchard Valley Harvest Nuts, NON-GMO Project Verified (2.5 Oz) snack sized bags . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4 bags for $5.00 Review: I love that these little bags are convenient and NON_GMO project Verified! There was quite a few different options of nuts to choose from for a good price. We bought; 2 bags of pistachio's roasted and salted; dark chocolate covered almonds; and also an almond, cashew, and dried cranberry trail mix. All together 10 Oz's of a variety of nuts for only 5$. They are also delicious, and the girls love them! Whole Salt Free Cashews, No additives or preservatives, Store Brand Market Basket (9oz bag) ... . . . .. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $4.99 Almonds Salt Free, No additives or preservatives, Store Brand, Market Basket (9oz bag). . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . $4.99 Review: While these nuts are not NON-GMO verified, they are unsalted, and only contain two ingredients. The ingredients include, the nut itself, and Roasted in Organic Sunflower Oil. Both of these options are my favorites. They came in a resalable bag, and enough to buy in bulk. Drew's Organic Caesar Dressing, USDA Organic Certified ......... $2.99 Review: This is the best Caesar Dressing for salads, I have ever had! This was the first time I've tried any kind of organic salad dressing. There was a couple really expensive brands but this is a cost effective option and it tastes amazing! It is also USDA Organic Certified, meaning no worries of direct pesticide use, and no GMO ingredients! Very happy with this product. Be on the look out for part 2! Ok! I get it, maybe I should have used those words, she was screaming at me to use. I should have told her to suck it up, be happy. I just couldn't picture someone else, having that much impact on one's feelings. That the way I felt, could impact another's mood indefinitely. It just seemed like to much pressure, at the time. It probably would be to much now, with how much I work on myself daily. When she told me to remind her " be happy." I was to focused on finding the reason why I was so unhappy, but appeared happy. Why did all my friends look to me for inspiration? When I felt I couldn't provide the happiness sought out in me, I declined. I couldn't fit the description for being the positive one anymore. Literally having the positivity drained out of me by such negative influences, that I myself appeared to be negative. This was stepping out of my character. I have always found myself happy, unless I was grieving.
This friend wasn't a friend at all. She was someone who always blamed someone else for how she felt. While in the mean time "Jumped Ship" every time I needed to grieve. It wasn't about her, in the end we both needed to work on ourselves. I have found that we feel better without each other. Maybe just proving to ourselves, that we could reach happiness without each other. I'm at peace with this now, and would never ask to reform our friendship, because that's been our downfall for the last 10 years. That's a long time, of off again, on again friendship. I am still grieving this friendship 8 months later. I will not let the affect my decision process. I still wish her the most happiness she can find without me. Still feeling connected to her in one way or another, it may take awhile. I've learned that you can only perform the same abusive patterns, without being about to come back and do it all over again. I refuse to let this cycle run yet again, and it died with my negative attitude. Over that last year, I've learned that I can NOT simply as it's put, be the source of someone else's happiness. After every essay I've written on sociology and phycology, without ever picking up a book myself, I should have not only realized this was a key factor, but I should have been more vocal about it. Like I said, I've never taken a class on phycology in my life. I give credit to life experience, genetics, and my early childhood development classes that I took in high school. Which all I take very seriously, and I have learned that I am very good with words, and appear well educated. That's because of all the research to this day, I continue activism with. I won't stop. I will continue to learn. until I exhaust myself. Thankfully I have a great support system to help me on the days that reading and researching GMO's make's me sick to my stomach, or I've completely burnt myself out! All in all, If she's reading this I just want to put the credit where it's due, as I deserve the credit, I am due. I would never of thought about reevaluating my life, unless you walked out of it. I was stubborn and I didn't want to admit it. I'm glad you are happier without the old me, as I am too. |
We Love The BabiesThis page is to bring you along my journey to find positivity and harmony. Its started as a 30 day challenge to learn more about ones self and how to truly take care of yourself. To take care of others, you have to be able to take care of yourself. Instead of a 30 day challenge I'm turning this into a year of positivity and the journey we venture to find what truly matters in this world. It is important as a mother to show children positivity can be found everywhere and anywhere. It starts with right now, and right here! Archives
