Thank Heaven for Babies: Emma First Born
Welcome to 2020 We Love The Babies!
Here we provide useful information about child development, activities to do with children of all ages, and so much more! We are proud to be running since 2011! I plan on continuing providing parents with all sorts of advice and ideas. I'm a cheerful person and through my personal journey I've learned to express my positivity in a way that makes others feel motivated and happy. Its a modeled behavior I like to teach my children. I've added a new blog called The Self Care Plan. It's a good blog for the mother that is also a woman, as we all are. How taking care of yourself ultimately increases your ability to help others. I'm a helper, always have been, always will be. I also want to instill into my children to help others. When they fall I ask them if they need a "helping hand". They are the sweetest children and always looking out for each other.
Every stage in a child's development is important. The first couple years and couple months of a babies life are the most crucial to learning and trust. A baby who learns trust right from the beginning will be more well behaved, know that they are being cared for, and will be able to show love in a healthy manner. I knew from an early age I wanted to be a mother, and I am so thankful for my four children. They spark a joy in me that could never be replaced. My children motivate me to be the best version of myself I can be. I went to a trade school and studied early childcare and development for 4 years, graduated lead teacher certified in both infant/toddler and preschool. I’ve worked in many classrooms, home day cares, and have been around young children my whole life. I am the mother of four beautiful children, who I have spent the last 10 years caring for and nurturing.
Emma has a small retina on her left eye which causes her to have a lazy eye. She's had an MRI at Boston’s Children's Hospital and had Surgery at Leominster Health Alliance. I’m writing a blog on her progress and updates on the status of her appointments. Disclaimer: This website is based on my opinions and experience working with children one on one. I'm not suggesting every thing works for every child, and i do suggest Early Intervention Programs if you believe your child has a delay. Thank You.
