Daily Routine:
When Mya was 7 weeks old and Emma was 18 Months, this is what we did at home to make it work. Everybody has different schedules and thankfully I am able to stay home with my children during the day while my Husband works. I love being able to stay home with my children and spend special bonding time with them. This is a basic daily routine that works for my family.
6am Mya wakes up. I give her a diaper change and feed her a 4oz bottle.
She stays up and we play together till her sister wakes up
8Am- Emma wakes up and we sing our wake up song "Wake up, Wake up" she always has a big smile on her face
Diaper change- When a baby wakes up its important that the first thing you do is a diaper change. Emma gets a diaper change as needed as well as, before getting into the car, before laying down for a nap or bed, leaving the house, and after she wakes up.
Mya usually needs another diaper change by this time.
Emma Eats Breakfast
Clean Up- Wash face and hands, and highchair after every meal
sweep the floor before letting her down from her high chair.
Emma Gets Dressed and Brush and Put Hair Up- We use a squirt bottle to do her hair because it's easier to put up wet. We do this quickly and gently to avoid her hating to have her hair done. She doesn't mind when we do her hair and she likes to have her own brush to help.
9 AM- Mya gets her medicine another 4oz bottle and diaper change.
Emma gets down from her highchair for Play Time - We encourage her to use her toys and learn how to use them the way they are supposed to be used, as well as let her have her own time to play with them creatively.
11:00 Am- Lunch Time
While Emma's eating lunch its usually time for Mya to have another diaper.
Clean Up Time- This time we wash her high chair down, hands, and face, then give her a wash cloth so she can practice washing herself on her own. She loves to wash her own hands and then tries to wash the highchair tray down as well.
12:00- Nap Time
12 Pm- After I lay Emma down for a nap, I give Mya a tubby, I use the baby bath in the kitchen sink. After she's all washed up, I take her out and use baby lotion. After I get her dressed, I swaddle her up and feed her a 4oz bottle.
1-1:30- Mya is up most of the morning so around now she takes her nap.
When both the kids are taking their naps I start to:
Sweep and Mop the floors, do the dishes from the morning, and clean the counters.
2:30PM- Emma wakes up from her nap.
