You know what that means! Valentine's day is in a couple weeks and I found a perfect simple project that will make the girls smile everyday when they wake up. You can use construction paper, left over wrapping paper, or any colored paper. For everyday leading up to Valentine's Day put a heart with a message on their door. Today I used the left over tinkerbell wrapping paper and wrote: we love you girls, love mommy and daddy. This is a great way to get the babies in the Valentine's Day spirit! Along with having them make each other personalized valentines for their sisters, grandparents, and so on. I also like to get the girls little gift baskets for Valentine's Day. Last year, they had little Dora Valentine's Day cards they passed out to their friends and grandparents and auntie.
I personally love Valentine's Day! I always have.Valentine's Day is fun, romantic, and such a creative time of year. It doesn't matter if you do not have a spouse. If you came here you probably have babies. It really comes down to how you portray Valentine's Day in front of your children. If you ignore it and pretend its just another day, well that's not going to make anyone happy. Changes are the babies aren't going to know much about it either. Let say your alone and you dont have a significant other. Every other day of the year has been great, you've been happy motivated and loving every minute of it. Even though your currently not in a relationship you can still have a Valentine. That baby sitting next to you, or running wild in front of you, sleeping peacefully all snuggled up, makes the best Valentine ever! Show that baby what Valentine's day is all about. Dress up the baby in their prettiest dress or suit, go to that nice restaurant you've been wanting to try, and make a tradition out of it. Our babies learn a great deal from how their parents act. If they see mom depressed in bed or on the couch because they are alone on Valentine's Day, they will remember that. How sad would it be that our children couldn't fully enjoy the holidays because it wasn't truly enjoyable for their parents. Babies learn from play, mimicking, and imagination. Spark something brilliant and get your child excited about Valentine's Day! Have a colorful, beautiful, loving Valentine's Day, We Love The Babies, Desirae

We Love The BabiesThis page is to bring you along my journey to find positivity and harmony. Its started as a 30 day challenge to learn more about ones self and how to truly take care of yourself. To take care of others, you have to be able to take care of yourself. Instead of a 30 day challenge I'm turning this into a year of positivity and the journey we venture to find what truly matters in this world. It is important as a mother to show children positivity can be found everywhere and anywhere. It starts with right now, and right here! Archives
