Along with removing clutter, there are different appliances that just plain out make life easier. I am very grateful for all the blessings my family has shared and how far we've come together. We have a big family, and with a big family makes a lot of dishes. Even keeping less dishes in the house, we still have a sink full at the end of each day. We have put off getting a dishwasher for some time now. We finally got one! I feel like I have more time to play with the babies, and a total stressor lifted from me. Some purchases are just worth it.
With how busy life can get, making life easier and less stressful can seem hard to do. Who has time with three kids to wash a sink full of dishes every night? In our case a dishwasher was the answer we've been looking for! I will keep looking for ways to simplify and by making life easier. If you have any ideas please feel free to share in the comments below! Thank you!

I hope everyone had a nice relaxing day for mothers day. Mothers day should really be called mommy's day off. However sometimes while having small children, getting time to yourself can seen impossible!
My mother's day was filled with love from my babies! My husband had to work on that Sunday. My girls let me sleep in and that was nice. We made our favorite pancakes for breakfast and spend the day outside. My husband spoiled me for like the next week because he had to work on Mothers day. Having a positive attitude about your situation can turn any situation around. It's not what's going on but your outlook on it. This Mothers Day was one of the first in many years that I can remember being able to see my mom. It was nice to see her. The girls and I gave her a card and a box of chocolates. Seeing my mom on Mothers Day and spending it with my babies was the best day/gift I could of asked for. Here's a picture of the pretty rose from my babies and my husband: Easter was so much fun! The girls enjoyed their baskets from us and their grandparents. We didn't go overboard on Easter because the best is yet to come. We wanted to see how they would respond to simple baskets. Easter usually looks like Christmas in our house. I love everything about Easter. They definitely enjoyed everything they received, and were thankful. They didn't ask for more, they were thankful for what they got. All the little toys and bubbles, sidewalk chalk, you know the drill. =) I noticed with less at a time, they were able to focus for longer periods on one toy, rather than being overwhelmed.
We have a lot planned in the next couple weeks. A trip to the aquarium for a late birthday present to Sophia, and a party at Chucky Cheese for Mya. Emma's going to be having a princess birthday party and we are looking for a "real" princess for the party. Invites will be going out soon however because I am paying for all admission it will be a relatively small party. (also we would need a bus) Just a few of their friends to enjoy the magic of celebrating their birthdays. I think I'm more excited then they are. When they see where we are going they will be so happy and surprised! I asked Mya "Do you remember Chucky Cheese?" She jumped up sitting on the couch next to me, and gave me a HUGE HUG and said "Thank you mommy, I love you!" I just can't believe how smart these girls are. It amazes me everyday. The fact that they are even smarter then they portray themselves to be. Shyness comes into affect. However I catch them counting to themselves all the time. Mya can count to 3 and Emma can count to 5. They can tell you any animal's name and where they live. I can't wait for them to see one of their favorite kinds of animals, in their habitats. Emma especially loves the water, and water animals. She loves turtles and her favorite color is green. Don't worry she wont let you forget it! The memory on this child is amazing. I am so thankful for the blessing I have received and hope to pay it forward. I am just filled with so much love and excitement I couldn't sleep! I had to write a post on how thankful I am. To know that my husband and I are raising, respectable, intelligent, strong, independent, caring, sweet baby girls, fills my heart with so much love and peace. Be thankful for what you do have. I always wanted more. I've always felt I wasn't doing enough. As most mothers do naturally. At the end of the day when my feet hurt because I was running back and forth all day, or my body hurts from sitting transforming into a human jungle gym, I wouldn't have it any other way! Me and my husband work hard for what we have, and everything is for our babies. Our children are happy, loved, and well cared for. They know it too. =) I am thankful to have children to climb me, love me as I love them, and be apart of their hearts. I am posting a gallery of Easter pictures, most of you may have seen them already, but their too cute! Have a blessed day, Momma Sometime this week I will be buying my domain and opening up the tutu shop. The new web address will be

With Thanks, Appreciation and Love, Have a blessed day, Desirae So I find myself, three babies and I'm in a wrist brace again. I've been having wrist pain for awhile off and on now. I haven't had to wear a wrist brace since January. The only reason I'm wearing it is because I know it's going to help. Good thing I've learned to do many thinks one handed already! =)
Have a blessed night, Desirae Alright everyone! Here we are! It's a beautiful day in April today. I went on a little adventure. The same adventure I go on every other week. Counseling. Most men are afraid of it, but we women embrace it. A smart women does. Life isn't always peaches and cream. However if your life is what you want it to be, it is most of the time. I love these little trips I take alone. My husband doesn't like the fact that I take the bus. It has more to do with he wants to cater and take care of my needs. I love him for that. I also LOVE that in NO way shape or form, my husband does not hold me back. I love him forever because of that. He works, a lot really. Its been nice having him home, but he's doing so much good where he works. So every time I go on this adventure, certain events happen. It is what it is right? I have to make it to the bus at a certain time, get there at a certain time (usually early), then catch the bus back before the 2 hr. next bus wait, then hope everyone has done their jobs when I get to the pharmacy. There are so many things to go wrong. I never expect the worst, always hope for the best. You never know what's going to be an issue. I love when everything runs smoothly. Nothing is a better feeling, than knowing you did it on your own, and got it done. I love those moments. I'm taking care of myself, so I can take the best care of my babies. There is no better feeling. So that's all I have to say. Also, I am planning a shopping trip to redo the girls bedrooms. That will be a blog update, for a later blog! So, stay tuned! Love Ya! This morning when I looked at my phone I was pleasantly surprised on what popped up. Walmart announced this Thursday that they are going to be selling more organic food in their stores. This is a huge accomplishment for the group fighting against GMO's and better labeling. Walmart plans to sell the organic food at a lower price, because more people want to buy it. On everything I've read on about organic food, they say the more you buy, the more these big companies will recognize the need for demand and supply. Walmart gives the people what they want. They see what is being bought and strive more to bring us the things they see us buying more of.
They are only going to be adding an extra line into half of their stores, for now. This is just the beginning. More farms are going to be set up for organic growth. I'm concerned with where the farms are located and that they are not contaminated with pesticides by water run off. That can happen when an organic farm is located directly next too or near the same water supply. We will see how Organic Walmart really is, but I'm proud of the majority population learning about organic food. It's so much safer for the babies. I've always thought of happiness as a rather simple feeling. For me it doesn't matter how much is going on, if my house is well put together so am I. Balance and a clean house. Some people don't care what their homes look like but find themselves stressed, eating wrong, living in mess. They have so much stuff it clutters all the way into their mind. Its not where you live but how you live. Although where you live can have an impact on your mood, continuing to dwell on a situation instead of making changes will make everything worse. Actions beat worries any day. Keeping organized and clutter free will give you more space for family, a clear mind, and positivity. When it comes to babies, a mess can seem to be overwelming at times. Sorting through toys, donating, and rotating can help keep messes at a minimum. As well as keeping puzzles, crayons, and other games put up and away while they're not being used. Having less clutter may seem impossible with children. As parents we want to save everything! I have decorative boxes for each of my girls with everything from the day they were born to their first holiday, and their baby books. Saving the important stuff by keeping it together and away helps. This summer we will be having a tag sale to get rid of the extra stuff. We've been preparing for that. As well as I know someone who is having a baby girl and I will be giving a lot of stuff to her. We just have so much stuff for the girls, from when they were tiny babies. But everything's clean and put together, ready to go! We're already almost unpacked. I find that having less dishes in the house, makes for easier clean up. Most dishware we have is child dishware. I like it because their small, the children can use it, and it doesn't take up a lot of space. We have a couple bigger plates but if it was completely up to me .... we wouldn't. I like having some bigger plates for dinners and when people come over. Having less defiantly helps keep clutter out of the kitchen. |
We Love The BabiesThis page is to bring you along my journey to find positivity and harmony. Its started as a 30 day challenge to learn more about ones self and how to truly take care of yourself. To take care of others, you have to be able to take care of yourself. Instead of a 30 day challenge I'm turning this into a year of positivity and the journey we venture to find what truly matters in this world. It is important as a mother to show children positivity can be found everywhere and anywhere. It starts with right now, and right here! Archives
